Prenatal Yoga

A prenatal yoga class is designed for pregnant women and has many benefits. Yoga classes help pregnant mothers develop a sense of community. In addition, the mother gets the chance to exercise during pregnancy.

A prenatal yoga class also prepares an expectant mother for delivery. Yoga focuses on the importance of breathing. A prenatal yoga class prepares the mother for the intense breathing she must do during delivery.

Prenatal yoga classes also help reduce stress during pregnancy. They can also decrease pain. In addition, the exercises have been shown to reduce swelling in the back and legs.
